Just finished embroidering a moth eaten coat for a client. The colour of the coat instantly said Klimt to me, so I looked at several paintings for inspiration and decided to limit my colour palette to gold, red, green and blue to create a really opulent embroidery to cover up all imperfections on the coat. I used ribbons I've collected over the years from Lindt chocolate bunnies, recycled braid, elements from broken jewellery, Czech glass beads and crystal beads. Here's the result!
